What’s new at the Conditioning Classroom?

At MACC, clients are making their hard work count twice!  By making “their loss, their gain,”  our clients have been donating their “too big” clothes to the Champa House which, in turn, provides business clothing to homeless women as they try to re-enter the workplace.  To date, MACC clients have donated almost three hundred pound of clothes and more than $200 in cash donations!  Donations are collected every three months.

Update:  March 2008— Two more car loads of clothes have been taken over to Champa House! We are getting close to 1,000 lbs of clothes donated so far!  (Not to mention more cash!) MACC clients totally ROCK!

MACC is participating in the 911 Fitness Challenge!

Dianne and Judy were busy this past weekend working with Colorado Police and Firefighters who are participating in the 911 fitness challenge. (Think “The Biggest Loser” for emergency responders!)  MACC was the only location within Colorado participating by weighing in the contestants and taking their body measurements. (Obviously rough duty!)  Good luck to all as they pack on the muscle over the next twelve weeks!

Update:  April 4, 2008—Congratulations to all of the Emergency responders who completed the 911 Fitness Challenge!  You had amazing results!  Great job!

Judy and MACC client Tracy Firmin take top honors!

April 2008:
Judy and Tracy recently competed at Rumble in the Rockies III.  Judy took first place in Forms competition while Tracy took a first place in “one-step sparring” and third in Forms competition!

Judy and Dianne are successful in their Black Belt Testings!

Dianne successfully completed her testing for her 4th degree black belt in February in Las Vegas, NV at the ATA Spring National Tournament!

Judy successfully completed her testing for her 1st degree black belt in April!

These two ladies KICK BUTT! (only higher!)

Tracy Firmin completes a triathlon

MACC client and friend just completed the Tri for the Cure Triathlon. Daughter Sydney and husband David also train in the Conditioning Classroom.  This is one tough family!  Awesome job Tracy!
